Be sure to catch the "NFL Total Access" roster cuts special on NFL Network, 7 p.m. ET on Saturday. Underwood, who is in his third NFL season, has been slowed by a knee injury suffered during training camp. He also has been switched from cornerback to safety.
Also probably working against Underwood were two off-the-field incidents in the last year. He pleaded not guilty this month to one count of disorderly conduct for an incident with his wife, and he pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of soliciting a prostitute in June 2010 at a resort cabin in Lake Delton, Wis.
Teams have until 6 p.m. ET Saturday to reach their final 53-man roster.
