Report: Young Eagles looking to Kolb, not McNabb, for advice Posted by Mike Florio on January 18, 2010 11:04 PM ET As all eyes in Philly are fixed on whether the Eagles will be trading quarterback Donovan McNabb, there's a new piece of evidence indicating that the future might be now for the team's quarterback of the future. (Product placement!)
Howard Eskin of WIP radio and NBC Philadelphia recently has reported that, during the 2009 season, young offensive players were going to Kevin Kolb for advice on the sidelines before approaching McNabb.
Of course, this says nothing about the organization's opinions of McNabb and/or Kolb, but it's definitely a factor in the question of whether the powers-that-be believe Kolb is ready to be the kind of leader that a franchise quarterback needs to be.
So stay tuned.profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/01/18/report-young-eagles-looking-to-kolb-not-mcnabb-for-advice/ My thoughts: I'll belief it when I see it.

I'll say it again....
McNabb - from what I saw at the Eagles training camp - did not attract a lot of players hanging around him when the team was assembled doing special teams drills - where most if not all starters are just watching and joking around at the end of practice.
If they're not going to do it there then they never will at other times.

Maybe all the Eagles' players at their training camp were on the can to Progresso? Ring, ring.
