Dallas Cowboys: Is Cowboys QB Dak Prescott playing scared right now?
sportsday.dallasnews.com Matt Mosley
........Question: What's wrong with Dak? Is he playing scared?
Mosley: He doesn't strike me as the type of guy who "plays scared." I think he's had to learn to adjust on the fly of not playing with an All-Pro tailback...and it's obviously not going well. The Cowboys put him in an awful situation against Atlanta. Jason Garrett seems to point to how great a competitor Prescott is in these games. But they have to do more to help him. He was extremely accurate and made some big plays with his feet earlier in the season. You have to play to his strengths. If Brice Butler was hurting teams early in the season, why wouldn't you try to keep using him in that role? It appears that Prescott only has faith in Jason Witten right now as a receiver. I'd throw Terrance Williams in to a certain extent, too. If your receivers can't get any separation, it puts a lot of stress on a quarterback. Will Dak go back to being Dak once Zeke returns? I guess we'll have to wait a few more weeks to see. ........ ........................................................................ you get what you pay for !
