Maybe Albert Haynesworth doesn't want to face Andre Gurode?
Washington defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth was sent home from practice on Friday for supposedly being late for a meeting. This came after he ripped the coaching staff after last week's loss to the New York Giants.
Jim Zorn said Friday he expected Haynesworth to play Sunday but that might have changed after Haynesworth unloaded on the scheme of defensive coordiantor Greg Blache in this Washington Post story.
Haynesworth didn't play in the first meeting against the Cowboys because of an injury, so his reunion with Andre Gurode never took place. I wonder if Zorn will play the high-priced defensive tackle after Haynesworth's comments. If he doesn't, then Haynesworth will miss Gurode again.
If you remember, in 2006, Haynesworth, then in Tennessee, stomped on a helmet-less Gurode after a touchdown run. He was ejected, fined and suspended for his actions but he said earlier this year he and Gurode are "cool."
Gurode might feel otherwise, but he has done his best to avoid talk of playing agaunst Haynesowrth again.

A key matchup: DeMarcus Ware vs. Levi Jones
DeMarcus Ware is coming off what he considers the best game of his career against New Orleans. He had two sacks, causing two fumbles that helped the Cowboys seal the win against the Saints less than a week after he was carted off the field with a serious neck injury.
This week Ware pronounced himself at full strength, the only concession a larger neck roll for more protection.
"No pain, no nothing," Ware said.
That's not good news for the Redskins.
But in the teams' first meeting at Cowboys Stadium, Ware was unable to sack Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell, working mostly against Levi Jones, who was making only his second start of the season. In six starts this year, Jones has surrendered four sacks and Campbell has been sacked eight times in the last two games.
It's the highest two-game total the Redskins have allowed since 11 to Philadelphia and Atlanta.
Ware has three sacks in two December games and has saved his best for later in the season in sacks. He has 21.5 sacks in his last 20 regular-season games played in December and January.
EDGE: Ware

Spreading the field for Felix Jones
In the last three games, the Cowboys have changed their blocking scheme on kickoff returns, no longer using offensive linemen Cory Procter and Pat McQuistan as a two-man wedge.
Instead, the Cowboys are spreading the field out more with smaller quicker players, even kickoff specialist David Buehler, to open things up for Felix Jones. The results have paid off. Jones had a 40-yard return called back against the Giants because of an away-from-the-return holding penalty. Against San Diego and New Orleans he put up a pair of 41-yard returns.
The Cowboys' average starting position is 26th in the NFL, which has upset special teams coach Joe DeCamillis this year. In the last three games since the change, the average has been the 26.3 yard line.
However, with Jones taking more turns at running back his kickoffs later in games have slipped some. It might be time to mix in Kevin Ogletree later because of his fresher legs.
